ProGroup Management Pty Limited was established in Sydney in 1996 as a consortium of three directors with strong roots in the community in the areas of building and construction, facilities maintenance and construction plant.

ProGroup commenced operations as a provider of facilities maintenance services under the Schools Facility Maintenance Contracts for three school districts in Sydney, two school districts in Bathurst/Orange and one school district in Coffs Harbour/Clarence comprising a total of 340 schools. ProGroup performed the Services under these contracts from June 1998 until June 2005.
